On Sunday, December 25, 2022, Albert J. Sanchez, proud father, and grandpa, passed away peacefully at

Albert worked several years with the Georgia Department of Transportation where he inspected many
road and bridge projects. He was most proud of his work on the F. J. Torras Causeway. After retiring in
1998, he relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he enjoyed spending time with family, the
Sandia Peak, authentic New Mexican food, and the casinos. In 2020, he returned to Georgia to be closer
to his children and grandchildren.
