Albert William "Billy" Sylvia, 72, of Waverly, died Tuesday at his residence. A native and longtime resident of Brunswick, he had lived in Waverly for the past year. He retired from Flav-O-Rich Dairies, and was a member of Altama Presbyterian Church. Mr. Sylvia loved to build crab traps. He was a beloved husband and father and a person of simple pleasures.Surviving are his wife, Jean Sylvia of Waverly; four sons, Ed Sylvia (Judy) of Brunswick, Mike Sylvia of Brantley County, Pat Sylvia (Angie) of Brantley County, and Joe Sylvia of Waverly; one sister, Marjorie Sylvia of Brunswick; four grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, William.
