Obituary

Albin B. Wanzo, known affectionately as "Benny," passed away on January 27, 2026, in Brunswick, Georgia, at the age of 80.

Benny was born on May 17, 1945, in Sayre, Pennsylvania, to Albin and Charlotte Wanzo. A proud patriot, he served his country in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967, including service in Vietnam, a chapter of his life that reflected his courage and dedication.

Following his military service, Benny became the owner and operator of Fancy Bluff Enterprises, where he was known for his strong work ethic, independence, and commitment to providing for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albin and Charlotte Wanzo; his brother, Charles Wanzo; his sisters, Betty Gunther and Laura Eleazer; and his beloved son, Kevin Wanzo.

Benny is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Tallie Wanzo; his son, Calvin Wanzo (Christine); four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, all of whom were a great source of pride and joy in his life.

Those who knew Benny will remember him as a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather whose life was defined by service, hard work, and love for his family.
