The daughter of Oliver Colwell Doss and Emma Lou Reynolds Doss, she was a lifelong resident of Brunswick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Mackey, and brothers, Oliver Harris Doss, Sr. and Albert Niblack Doss, her twin. She is survived by children, Carroll Riley Mackey (Laura) of Mount Holly, N.C.; Emily Jan Mackey of Jefferson, GA. and George Kenneth Mackey (Sharon) of St. Simons Island; grandchildren, Stephen Riley Mackey of Charlotte, N.C., and Emma Rose Mackey Horn (Jeff) of Manassas, VA.; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
