Anita Watts Taylor "Sunshine", 64, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Southeast GA Health System of Brunswick.
Anita loved flowers and enjoyed taking pictures. She doted over her children, loved her husband, and forgave without question. Anita was known to all as a pillar of her family. She helped keep the family together and communicating. She was the nexus of her immediate family.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, William Gordon Watts and Mary Louise Nettles Watts; brother, Marvin Watts; and son, Carl W. Blanton.
She is survived by her husband, Sim A. Taylor; daughters, Anita "Rhonda" Veronica Gambrell (James) and Lisa Rena Frazier (Allan); grandchildren, Veronica Rena Gambrell, Benjamin Reed Blanton, Lance James Gambrell, Victoria Nicole Gambrell, Brittany Nicole Blanton, Carl W. Blanton II and Sabre Angel Blanton; great-grandchildren, Bianca A. Blanton, Sabre D. Blanton and Benjamin D. Blanton; sisters, Judy Robertson, Velma Bullard and Janell Corbitt; sister-in-laws, Sandra A. Noble and Mary E. Padilla; mother-in-law, Thelma G. Mobley; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, August 8, 2015 in the Chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with Associate Pastor Ben Campbell officiating. Private entombment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, August 7, 2015 at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
