Anna Curran, 96, of Oak Grove Island, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by family. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Anna showered her family with generosity and unconditional love. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Shwaluk; her twin brother; Michael Shwaluk; brother, Joseph Shwaluk and sister, Mary D. Heidler; her loving husband, Coleman James Curran Jr.; and their son Shaun T. Curran. Anna is survived by her daughter, Melanie C. Staab (Craig); grandchildren, Patrick Ryan Staab (Libby), Bridget E. Staab, and Daniel T. Staab; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Tim McKeown officiating. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to services at the church. Interment will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC.
