Obituary

Antonino Zangla, 82, of Brunswick died Tuesday at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Born in New York City, he went to Sicily at age 2 returning to America in 1946 after WW II. He worked in the garment industry, and in 1968 opened his first pizza restaurant on Long Island, N.Y. He moved to Florida in 1978 opening a full service Italian Restaurant. He moved to Brunswick in 1982 opening Two Brothers Italian Restaurant, and in 1986 opening Matteo's Italian Restaurant. He was a member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He loved to fish, and travel with his family. He also had a special love for his dogs.
