Betty Lou Cook, 81, of Brunswick, GA died on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Southeast Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick, Georgia. Born on October 23, 1939, to the late Donald and Madeline Harris in Baxley, Georgia, she married James M. Cook on October 22, 1977. She loved reading the bible, playing games on her tablet, spending time shopping, and eating out. Betty adored her family and could not think of anything better than spending time with them. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, James M. Cook; a sister; and two brothers. Betty is survived by children, Lydia (Ken), Cheryl (Harold), Susie, and Donnie; grandchildren, Brandon (Laney), Johnathan (Kristen), Devin; several great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters; two brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 21st, 2021 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Peter Fvivenzio officiating.
