Betty G. Thrift, 93, of Brunswick, GA died on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Senior Care Center. Born on May 12, 1929, to Bogie and Josephine B Bennett in Brunswick, Georgia, she married the late Robert Thomas Thrift on February 29, 1948, in Emanuel Methodist Church. Tommy and Betty were founding members of Lakeside United Methodist Church.

She is also preceded in death by her two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her children, Bobby Thrift (Teri), Tami Wood (Bruce), and Brenda Hughes (Ronald) of Forsyth GA; a sister, Phyllis Moyer (Darrell) of Perry, GA; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Lakeside United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12th, 2022, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Reverend Donald C Combs officiating.
