Billie Ann graduated from Jefferson High School, Jefferson, GA and attended the University of Georgia and Athens Business College where she taught business subjects for 3 years. She lived in Lakeland, FL and worked for Holiday Inn Resort for nine years. In 1997 Billie Ann came to live in Darien and began working at the King & Prince Hotel on St. Simons Island. She worked as a front desk manager and reservations manager. She was manager for the King & Prince Condominium Association for nine years prior to her retirement, celebrating 25 years of service. In addition to Billie Ann's parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her daughter and son in law Melinda and Mike and her grandson, Jason; great grandson Will Conway. Survivors include grandsons, Michael & Christa Blackwood; great grandkids Harley & Christopher Blackwood; brother, Walter & Helen Hogan; step daughter, Glenda & Mike; step son, Tony & Holly Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 22 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery.
