Billy Raymond Knight Sr., age 59, passed peacefully in his home on the evening of Thursday, July 26th, 2018. Services will be held at Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 31st, 2018 at 11 AM. Billy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. His children and grandchildren were his entire world and his constant source of pride. He looked forward to a retirement spent fishing and enjoying the simple pleasures of the wilderness on the Altamaha river. He enjoyed immensely his time spent woodworking in his shop and playing pranks on family. Billy now joins his parents, Gladys and Sam Knight, and wife of 20 years, Frankie Knight, to watch over their family from Heaven. He is survived by his children, Billy Knight Jr., Sam Knight, Lindsay Clark, and twin sons, David and Franklin Knight, grandchildren Peyton, Zoey, and Melanie, brother, Ronnie Knight, sister, Cindy Jones. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Altamaha Riverkeeper, Friends of Georgia State Parks, or other charitable organizations that promote the preservation of Georgia's wilderness.
