Bryan Adrian Acero-Espinoza, 23, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Brunswick.
Born June 7, 2002, in Queens, New York, Bryan was the fourth son of Luis Antonio Acero and Rosa Elena Espinoza-Perez. He grew up in Brunswick, graduated from Glynn Academy class of 2021, and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He was a commercial construction worker.
Lovingly nicknamed “Mijin” by his family, Bryan was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. He had a natural way with children, and they were drawn to him, especially his nieces and nephews, who adored him. He loved animals, including his cat, a bearded dragon, and a rescued baby duck that turned out to be a goose. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for someone he loved, and he found joy in making those around him happy.
Bryan was known for being exceptionally organized. His family often joked that he spent more time organizing his toys than actually playing with them. He also had a passion for collecting sneakers and had an impressive collection of Nikes. As a child he took an interest in boxing (and was pretty good) and loved to watch John Cena and the WWE. In adulthood, he found peace in spending time outdoors, especially on nature walks.
He is survived by his parents, Luis Acero and Rosa Espinoza, both of Brunswick; brothers, Marco Espinoza (Bilma) of Queens, Hugo Acero (Aracelia) of Brunswick; and Cesar Espinoza (Monica) of Brunswick; his sisters, Monica Acero, Jaimmy Acero, and Alison Acero, all of Brunswick; his nieces, Jennifer, Ashley, Marley, and Mariela Espinoza, and Angelina Acero; and nephews, Fernando and Hugo Acero, and Mateo and Aiden Espinoza; his best friend, José Gómez; and his girlfriend, Alejandra Enamorado.
