Carol C.Whorton, 78, resident of Brunswick, died Thursday at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Cramer officiating and burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. She was a registered nurse having worked with Dr. Inman and Snyder for 20 years and worked at Southeast Georgia Health System. She had been a resident of Brunswick since 1956. Family request that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer Association. Survivors are, one son, Joseph Elwood Whorton (Sharon) of Brunswick; two daughters, Deborah Burgess (Kenneth) and Cassandra Whorton, both of Brunswick.
