Charles (Charlie) Fadious Earp, Jr., of Brunswick, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 19 th , 2026, at the age of 86. He often joked he wouldn’t outlive the Hwy 17 construction. Born on February 3, 1940, to Julia and Charles Earp in Wilmington, NC. Charlie lived in many places, including Atlanta and Jacksonville, before settling in Brunswick in 1968.

Charlie was proceeded in death by his wife, Geraldine Tapley Earp. He is survived by his son, Charles “Chuck” Earp (Suzanne) of Marietta, stepdaughter Lynn Gilliard (James) of Brunswick, stepson Chuck Kleckley (Beaufort, SC), and his brother Warren (Dee) of Roswell. He also left behind niece, nephews, and four step grandchildren.

Please join his family and friends for a celebration of life remembrance on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 4pm at Brunswick Country Club.  Please dress casual. Kindly bring memories and stories to share with everyone or simply be here with family and friends.
