Charles Louis Sellers, 85, passed away on April 2, 2021 at Sears Coastal Nursing and Rehab under Hospice of The Golden Isles in Brunswick. Born in Wheeler County, he was the Son of Louis F Sellers and Pauline Cross Sellers. He attended Glynn Academy. He was employed by Brunswick Pulp & Paper and then Georgia Pacific for 35 Years when he retired in 1998. He attended Golden Isles Baptist until his health would no longer allow. He enjoyed golf as a pastime. He will be remembered for his contagious smile and occasional wink for the ladies. He was the sweetest man and loved by many including his wonderful caregivers. He was predeceased by his father, Louis F Sellers, and mother, Pauline Cross Sellers; former wife, Betty Sammons Sellers, to whom he was married for 47 years; daughter, Cindy Sellers Gibson; son-in-law, L Douglas Gibson; brother-In-law, Frank Laye; and niece, Lori Sellers Frye. He is survived by his loving daughter, Cheryl Sellers Sellers (Terry); grandchildren, Heather Sellers, Gavin Sellers, Christy Weber (Jon), and Bryan Gibson (Lyndsey); great grandchildren, Annistyn and Addilyn Thompson, and Samantha and Henry Gibson; sister, Paulette Sellers Laye; and brother, William (Mary Sue); along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. The memorial service will be held on April 24, 2021, at 11:00 am at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home, 4407 Highway 17 North, Brunswick Ga 31525.
