Charles Noel Todd of Valona , Georgia died peacefully at his residence after a five year battle with cancer and dialysis on Sept. 6, 2022. He was born to Fred Noel Todd and Mary Audrey Campbell Todd on 07-07-1945 and was known as "Captain Charlie". He lived his entire life in McIntosh County and was a shrimp boat Captain that fished the waters from Mexico to North Carolina. He was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Robert C. Todd, George (Buddy) Todd, daughter-in-law Deon Todd, nieces Robin Todd & Kerri Lynn Holmes. He's survived by his wife of 53 years Cindy Todd, son William H. Todd , daughter Charlene Noel Todd (Shay) and grandchildren Sierra Watson, Charles Luke Todd & Cheyann Watson, brothers Freddie Todd, John Todd (Annette) & sister Marilynn Todd Lynn (Thomas) & several nephews and nieces

Charlie was an avid reader, enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and was a bee keeper with very sweet honey. Friends and family can gather at a memorial dinner at Eulonia Church of God of Prophecy (1540 State Barn Road) on Sept. 10 at 11 am to honor and celebrate Charlie's life.

Charles Noel Todd, 77, of Townsend, passed away at his home on September 6, 2022. Golden Isles Cremation Center/Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
