Cherrie O. Lamkin, 80, of St. Simons Island passed away on Friday, September 30, 2005 at Magnolia Manor. Mrs. Lamkin had lived in Glynn County for the past two years coming from Hemet, California. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her two sons, Charles E. Lamkin and Jett Lamkin, both of St. Simons Island; a sister, Melva Collins of Canoga, CA; two brothers, Milton Burrow and Richard Burrow both of Woodland Hills, CA; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to: CMAP--P.O. Box 1357, Brunswick, GA 31521. The Golden Isles Cremation Society is in charge of arrangements.
