Chris Pecha Harrison passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law in Brunswick, GA under home hospice care. She lived with them for the past eleven months. Chris was born in New Brunswick, NJ on Dec. 13, 1953, to the late Richard Pecha and Wally Pecha. Chris was a 1972 graduate of Glynn Academy. While in school she lived on St. Simons Island. After graduating high school she moved to Florida and lived in Orlando, Seminole, and most recently Winter Park. Chris loved animals. She enjoyed watching classic movies, listening to her oldies music, and spent much of her free time reading and drawing. She was naturally talented with her sketching and cartooning. She enjoyed incorporating her family and their pets into her cartoons. Her creativity and imagination brought to all so much pleasure and laughter over the years. Chris is survived by her husband, Damian Harrison of Winter Park, FL; brother Richard (Janet) Pecha of Smyrna, GA; sisters Diana (Steve) Morrison of Brunswick, GA and Melissa Lawlor of Freehold, NJ. There will be no service here. Chris will be interred with her mother and grandparents at the Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY. Golden Isles Cremation Center is honored to be assisting the family.
