Christine B. Strickland, 77 of Brunswick passed away Wednesday at S.E. GA Health Systems. She was a lifelong resident of Brunswick and was employed at Carl Gregory. She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved people and volunteered her services to the community for many years. Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and 'Grannie' to many of her friends. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Norman Strickland, 2 sons, Norman 'Chuck' Strickland, and Dobie L. (Donna) Strickland, a brother, Robert (Shirley) Barnard. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Wanda (Buddy) Martin, and her trusted companion, Snuggles. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11AM at the chapel of the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday night from 6 to 8 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
