In Loving Memory Christopher R. Hales died on September 7, 2021, at his home in Excelsior, MN. of a lengthy illness. He was born in Norwalk, Ohio, and was 40 years old. Before he moved to Excelsior he was a resident of Brunswick, GA. He is survived by a daughter Autumn Hales and a son Mason Hales, two brothers Jason Hales and William Hales, parents Randy and Catherine Rarden, grandparents Effie Cummings, Harold and Jeanne Rarden, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Hales, grandfather Elmer Hales, grandmother Helen Fairchild, grandfather Edwin Cummings, and grandparents Jim and Margaret Wolf. Chris loved talking with people. He worked in the service industry and enjoyed meeting people from all over. Chris was kind and did not hesitate to help someone in need. He loved fishing, cooking, playing golf, and watching sports. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. A graveside memorial service will be held on October 02, 2021, at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Christopher's name to the high school sports program of the donor's choice.
