Clayton (Clay) Theodore Harrison, 49, of Brunswick passed away suddenly in his home Thursday, May 10, 2018. Clay was born December 20, 1968 in Brunswick, Georgia and was a lifelong resident of Glynn and Brantley Counties. He was a native of Brantley County and a 1986 graduate of Brantley County High School and was self-employed. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and lover of all things in nature. He will be remember as a generous man who was always willing to lend a hand to those in need and for his mischievous and wicked sense of humor. Clay is survived by his parents, Faye Lovin Harrison and Ted Harrison of Brunswick, Georgia and his longtime companion of nine years and furbaby, Lil' Girl. Extended family includes aunts and uncles: Terry and Peggy Harrison, Wayne and Sharon Lovin, Amy Lovin, Lois Cox, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruth and Blanton Lovin, and paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Hubert Harrison, all of Brunswick, Georgia. Services will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11:00am at Golden Isles Baptist Church, where Clay was a member, with visitation an hour before the service. Interment will be at Whitaker Hill-Harrison Cemetery in Brantley County, Georgia. Active pallbearers are Randy Lott, Ronnie (Peabody) Lott, Clifford Patten, Leslie Patten, Carl Teston, and Donald Wooten. Honorary Pallbearers are Dean Clarke, Joe Cox, Ron Locke, Jason Lockhart, Jay Lockhart, Shawn Lovin, Royce McElmurray, Ross Sproat, Chuck Stokes, and Mike Wilson.
