Obituary

Cliff B. Clayborn, Jr., 44, of Brunswick died Monday at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Cliff was a lifelong resident of Glynn County, and spent 20 years in steel fabrication and erection. He was the Assistant Scout Master of Troup 1. He also volunteered and worked with Pat's Angels. Cliff was a member of C.C. Hunting Club, Everett Hunting Club and the Altamaha Park Association. He loved hunting fishing and camping and was always ready to help anyone in need. Cliff is survived by his wife, Angela Clayborn; mother, Melba Williford (Pat); son, Austin Gowen; two daughters, Destiny and Taylor Riley; sister, Kelly Tanner (Brian); and a special young lady, Brittany Lane; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles or the American Cancer Society. Family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Sterling Church of God. Memorial Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Daughtry officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cliff's scouts from Troop 1.
