Cora Lee Strickland Hannah passed away on April 27, 2023 at the Brunswick Campus of the Southeast Georgia Health System. She was 98.

She was a faithful Christian woman who sought to serve Jesus in all things. She was a member of Arco United Methodist Church.

Cora Lee's family brought her great joy. She loved being Mama to Gary and Linda; and Mema to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Family time was special with her; and 'spend-the-nights' were treats for the grandchildren.

She was an excellent cook. Her creations were favorites at covered-dish events. She enjoyed cooking delicious Sunday meals every week for her family. And a cake was always in hand when she went to any appointment or gathering.

Cora Lee spent her last years at the Senior Care Center of Brunswick. The family is grateful for the care and attention that she received while living there.

She is survived by her children Gary Strickland (Christine) and Linda Blackerby (Johnny); her sister, Marjorie Flowers (Paul); six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, May 1, 2024, at 4:00 pm at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 17 in Brunswick.
