Cynthia Ann Johnson, passed away unexpectedly at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, on February 11, 2026.

Born in Brunswick Georgia on May 18, 1971, Cynthia was the beloved daughter of Calvin Lanier Johnson and Judy Kennedy Johnson. A lifelong resident of the community she cherished, Cynthia graduated from Brunswick High School in 1989. She continued her education at Georgia Southern University, earning her business degree in Accounting in 1995.

Cynthia became a Certified Public Accountant and faithfully served Glynn County for the past 25 years. She truly loved her work and the people she served. For Cynthia, accounting was never just about numbers — it was about relationships. She went above and beyond for her clients, and over the years, many of them became dear friends. She was often invited into their homes for meals, birthdays, and family gatherings, as so many considered her not just their accountant, but part of their family.

She is survived by her sister, Priscilla Johnson; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many cherished friends.

Cynthia will be remembered for her dedication, her generosity of spirit, and the genuine care she showed to everyone she encountered. Her impact on her community and on the lives of those she served will not be forgotten.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
