Danny Michael Burgess was born in Rome, Georgia and has been a resident of Brunswick, Georgia for many years. He will truly be missed by all that knew him. He loved all his family. He is survived by his wife Hilda Burgess, mother in law Alma Sumner, daughter Connie Vanhouten, son in law Ted Vanhouten, sons Danny T. Burgess, daughter in law Melissa Burgess, Mark Burges, daughter in law Holly Burgess, and Dwayne Burgess, daughter in law Jennifer Burgess, along with sisters Vicki Underwood, Sheila Burgess, Jean Leggett and brothers David Burgess, Donnie Burgess, multiple grand kids, great grand kids and other family. He was preceeded in death by his mother and father.

Danny Michael Burgess, 72, of Brunswick, passed away at Southeast Georgia Health Systems on December 27, 2022. Visitation will be held on January 3, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with services to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Golden Isles Cremation Center/Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
