IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David Mckinley
Beam
July 10, 1949 – August 15, 2024
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David McKinley Beam 75, who went to his Eternal Home in Heaven on Thursday August 15.
David was a cherished partner to Nancy Holder for 12 years . David loved her deeply and theirs was a true love story filled with laughter, trust, and thankfulness to God for one another. He was also known as "Little David" and Pa to those who knew and loved him.
David proudly served in the US Navy on the John F Kennedy vessel during the Vietnam War.
He was a valued employee for High Performance Tube in Brunswick, GA for 33 years where he retired. David was an accomplished landscaper who owned his own business caring for many customers over the years.
He enjoyed the open road riding his Harley with his friends and brother.
David is survived by his loving partner, Nancy; his brother, Lonnie Beam of Brunswick, GA; and three sisters, Carol Bunton and Sandra McPeek of Beaufort, SC, and Diane Bonneau (James Bonneau) of NH.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Fender Still (whom he often spoke highly of); and his brother, Jesse Lee Beam, Jr.
Visitation will be at 10 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11 on Tuesday, August 20th, at Brunswick Memorial Park Home and Cemetery 4407 US Hwy 17 North in Brunswick, GA.
