David N. Hardy, Jr., (formally of Endwell) Darien, Ga. fell into the arms of the Lord on Monday September 3, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents, Ruth and David, Sr. and sister, Margaret Casteline. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 51 years, Rose (Vorobel); two sons and daughters-in-law, David (Susan) of Alpharetta, GA, Craig (Michele) of Modesto, CA; six wonderful grandchildren: Kyle, Kelsey, and McKenna of Alpharetta, GA. Ryan, Ethan, Jacob of Modesto, CA; also survived by his sister, Judi Furman, Johnson City, N. Y. and many brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was an electrical engineer and manager at IBM-Owego for 32 yrs. Every summer he enjoyed going to his cottage on Cayuga Lake to fish, water ski and boat with many good friends. After retiring he enjoyed traveling to Europe, Hawaii and California. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Clarkson officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
