Dixie Lee Varnadore, 75, of Brunswick, entered into rest Saturday, December 27th. Dixie grew up in Alma but lived most of her life in Savannah and Brunswick. She was a retired State Auditor and had spent her retirement years RVing with her husband and friends. L.A.'s parents may be remembered as the late Harry and Maude Varnadore of Brunswick. She is survived by her husband, L.A. Varnadore of Brunswick; two sons, Michael (Martha) Boatright of Alma, and Jerry (Myra) Boatright, also of Alma; a daughter, Terry B. (Cecil) Riley of Valdosta; brother, Larry (Linda) Paulk of Waycross; three grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
