Dolores "Betty" Mosely Blades was born On December 7, 1929 in Tampa, Florida. She passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, Georgia. Mrs. Blades was preceded in death by her father Lewis Mosely; mother, Thelma Mosely; and brother, Lewis Mosely, Jr. She was married to her husband, Frankie Raymond Blades, on April 3, 1953. They were married for 54 years before his death in 2007. "Betty" lived in Tampa, Florida; Bradenton, Florida; and Bridgeville, Delaware prior to moving to Brunswick in 2007. "Betty" was a homemaker and an Episcopalian. "Betty" is survived by three children, Cody Shane Blades (Debbie); Robin Blades Twilley (Steve); and Johnny Dale Blades; nine grandchildren, Amy Willingham, Holly Wells, Megan Sabo, Cody Shane Blades II, Brandon Twilley, Tyler Twilley, Jarrett Blades, Chelsea Blades and Caitlyn Blades; eight great grandchildren, Maddie Welch, Mallory Welch, Kody Willingham, Gavin Wells, Brodie Sabo, Noah Sabo, Hayden Sabo, and Hadaley Blades. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Private Interment will be held at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.
