Dorothy Ann Babcock Dorothy "Dot" Babcock, 73, of Brunswick, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Southeast GA Health System of Brunswick. She was born in Pickaway, West Virginia. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Gordon Lyman Babcock of 55 years; daughter Annette Smith (Richard); son, Wayne Babcock (Sharon); 6 grandchildren, Joseph B. Smith, Kricket Walen (Darren), Kimberly Thompson (Patrick); Craig Smith, Jason Babcock, Jordon Babcock; and 6 great grandchildren. Dorothy was a devoted housewife and mother. She was a member of Christ Church on Carteret Road. She was a very strong woman and loved animals. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 25, 2015 in the Chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Patrick Thompson and Pastor Michael Gibbs will officiate.
