Dorothy Connors Fountain, 97, died on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at her home in Brunswick, Georgia. Born on October 15, 1923, to Basil and Gladys Davis Connors in Birmingham, Alabama, she married the love of her life, Homer Sanders Fountain on January 6, 1950. She attended Birmingham-Southern College where she was a member of AOPI sorority. They retired to Brunswick, Georgia where they were members of The Ambassador's Club and the Shoreline Dance Club. Dot enjoyed volunteering, shopping, and socializing with her wonderful neighbors. Dorothy was preceded in death by a daughter, Paige Fountain Killeen, and a brother, Basil James Connors, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Homer Sanders Fountain; daughters, Leslie F. Burford (Bart) and Lacey F. Wilson (Danny); grandchildren, Ashley B. Padgett (David), Alexis K. Blue (Ryan), Taylor Burford (Mellody), Zack Keim (Eden); a niece, Stacy Noe (Mickey); great-grandchildren, Sanders Padgett, Ford Padgett, Tanner Blue, Connor Blue, Locklin Burford, Layton Burford, Banks Keim; and great-nieces, Hayley Noe and Saylor Noe. Graveside Services will be on Friday, March 12th, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Brunswick Memorial Park with Chaplain Bill Allen officiating.
