Dorothy K. Roush, 80, of Brunswick died Tuesday at her daughter's residence. She moved here in 1953 from Douglas Ga. and was a retired RN. She worked for the hospital in Douglas before moving to Brunswick where she worked at the Brunswick Memorial Hospital, and then at Babcock-Wilcox for 25 years. She was a member of the Golden Isles Church of God and taught several Sunday school classes. She was an active member of the Ladies Ministries and a food bank worker. Survivors include her husband; Howard W. Roush of Brunswick. a daughter; Phyllis E. Garrett of Brunswick, a step daughter; Janice E. Carmichael of Gainsville, Ga; a son, Rev. Richard W. Baker Sr. of Brunswick, a step son; John W. Roush of Zebulon, Ga. 2 sisters; Shirley Folds and Pat Smith, both of Fitzgerald, Ga. 2 brothers; William Paulk of Fitzgerald, and Jerry Paulk of Alapaha, Ga. 8 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband Gilman W. Baker.
