Douglas W. LaRoche, Sr., 73, of Brunswick passed away June 7th at his residence. He lived in Brunswick since 2000 coming from Crescent. He worked for the Army Corp of Engineers for 40 years, and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, Father, and Grandfather. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Randall LaRoche officiating. Family will receive friends 2 hours prior to services in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Heartland Hospice. Survivors include his wife, Annette LaRoche of Brunswick; 2 daughters, Michelle Douglas of Crescent, and Denise (Al) Baggett of Hawkinsville; 2 sisters, Vivirie LaRoche of Crescent, and Josephine Howard of St Simons Island. 2 brothers, Billy LaRoche of Augusta, and Ike LaRoche of Pooler; 4 grandchildren, Vince Fisler, Skylar Fisler, Noah Douglas, and Judith Douglas. He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Warren LaRoche, Jr.
