Doyle P. Hughes, 64, of Brunswick died Sunday at Memorial Health University Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Paulette Hughes of Brunswick; his mother, Alma Baggett of Caruthersville, MO; a son, Doyle Hughes, Jr. of Brunswick; two daughters, Kim Hughes and Kelly Cox, both of Brunswick; three sisters, Lovida Igo of St. Ignes, MI, Kay Hughes of Caruthersville, MO, Tina Womack of Blue Springs, MO; and several nieces and nephews. He had been a resident of Glynn County since 1979, having come from Coloma, Michigan and was retired from SeaPak where he had worked in maintainence management. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of Northside Baptist Church and the American Legion, Brunswick Post #9. Pallbearers are the members of Northside Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northside Baptist Church Building Fund. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
