Dustin Lee Taylor, 22, of Brunswick died February 19th. He was a lifelong resident of Glynn County and a graduate of Camden County High School. He was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church and the M & M Hunting Club. He dearly loved his family and his friends.
Dustin is survived by his mother, Kamala (Cyrus) Simpson of New Smyrna Beach, Fla, and his father, Gary Lee (Scarlett) Taylor of Brunswick. Maternal grandparents, Larry and Eloise Smith of Waverly; paternal grandparents, Gary and Edwina Taylor of Brunswick; paternal great grandmother, Lorraine McGovern of Willacoochee, Ga.; 2 sisters, Kallee Taylor of Brunswick, and Alexis Butler of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; a brother, Zachary Taylor of Waverly; 1 aunt, Angela Stocks, 3 uncles, David Smith, Timothy Smith, and Donnie Taylor, and several cousins. Dustin is also survived by his loving cousin, D.J. with whom he had a very special relationship and bond with. More than just cousins, he and D.J. were best friends.
Visitation and Services
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM in the chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery. Reverend Jack Pickren and Rev. Dr. Art Cyphers will be officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Stephen Fortier, Clay Butler, Jaime Waters, Cyrus Simpson, Mandy McGovern, and Michael McGovern.
