Elizabeth Nanette Krom, 70 of Waycross, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 18, 2023 in

her home, after an extended illness.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Alvin and Elizabeth Shuman, spouses, Jim Pap and

Lee Krom, brother, Stanley Shuman, and great granddaughter Sophia Pap.

Nanette was a simple woman, who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time

with her children and grandchildren. She was a hard worker, who owned and operated her own

mobile home park. She enjoyed watching Westerns, football, true crime, and soap operas. She

loved to play Yahtzee. She had a kind heart, who loved to give to others.

She is survived by her two daughters, Penny Courson (Shane), Crystal Jacobs (Jay), six

grandchildren, Austin Pap, Lindsey Vaughn (Tyler), Colleen Nabb, Corrine Nabb (Ethan Bush), Luke Courson,

Jared Pap, two great granddaughters, Eliza and Rory Vaughn, two sisters, Barbara Lee

(Ernest), Sarolyn Douglas, along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear

friends.

A special thanks to Hearth Hospice, Sonya Lee, Lisa Harris, Casey Turner, and Jackie Sutton.

There will be a visitation Monday, April 24, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pleasant Valley Church. There

are no funeral arrangements. The family will have a private get together.
