Elizabeth (Betty) Mary Anderson Murray, age 87, resident of Magnolia Manor in St. Mary's GA, born in Rotterdam, NY, died Friday, October 06, 2017 at Quality Health & Community Hospice of Fernandina Beach, Florida from complications related to heart disease. She leaves Daughters, Mary (Stanley) Rogowski of Woodbine, GA, Kathy Livingston of Niskayuna, NY and Susan (Michael) Kirk of Loudon, TN. Sons, Leonard (Drue) Murray of Sarasota, FL, Timothy (Roz) Murray of Crestview FL, Thomas (Pamela) Murray of Davie, FL & Terence (Theresa) Murray of Homosassa, FL and her beloved partner, David Raynor of St Mary's, GA. Her many grand and great grandchildren, sister June Jakobowski, nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends, all who will remember she played cards to win and never ate green vegetables. She loved ice cream, pork chops, mashed potatoes and milk. She often spoke of her childhood days delivering milk and singing songs with her father William (Sarah Bubb) Anderson of Rotterdam, NY. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Leonard A. Murray, Sr., her son Daniel A. Murray, grand daughter Jennifer G. Murray and Brother William J. (Alice) Anderson. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1pm at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 106 E Dillingham St, ST. Mary's, GA. There is a reception following at Magnolia Manor, 4695 Charlie Smith SR Hwy, ST Mary's, GA 31558 Her ashes will be interred beside her husband SGT. Leonard A. Murray, Sr. at the Sarasota National Cemetery in Florida.
