Ernest D. James, 78, of Brunswick passed away Friday, December 23, 2005 at his residence. Mr. James had lived in Brunswick for the past 60 years coming from Screven, GA. He was retired and was owner and operator of James Pest Control and Circle Pest Control. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He attended Southside Baptist Church and was a member of the Georgia Pest Control Association. He will be remembered as an avid hunter, fisherman and family man. He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Holder of Brunswick and Robin Holder of Alachua, FL; four sons, Rufus Holder, Mike Holder, Smokey James, all of Brunswick and Chris Holder of Panama City, FL; five sisters: Freda Roberson of Atlanta, Glenda O''Connor and Mary Sue Sellers of Brunswick and Frankie Cox and Francis Leggett of Darien; two brothers, Kendall James of Brunswick and Johnny J. James of Macon; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Glynn County Human Society. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
