Ernest H. ''Ernie'' Lavallee, 53, of Brunswick died Saturday at his residence. Mr. Lavallee had been a resident of the area since 1991, having come from Orange Park, FL. He was owner and operator of Servpro of Brunswick/Waycross and was a member of Norwich Baptist Church. Mr. Lavallee, known as Papa Weege, was an avid off-shore fisherman and enjoyed coaching youth sports and was a past assistant coach at Frederica Academy. He was affectionately known as the ''Karaoke King of Spanky''s''. Survivors are his loving wife, Teresa ''Terri'' Lavallee of Brunswick; his mother, Gertrude Lavallee of Preston, CT; three sons, Ernest H. Lavallee, Jr. of Norwich, CT, Jeff C. Lavallee and his fiancé, Kristen Bethoney, of Orange Park, FL., and Ryan L. Lavallee, of Brunswick, and his fiancé, Ashley Harper Crowley of Saint Simons Island; his daughter, Shelby L. Smith of Norwich, CT; a brother, Rene Lavallee of Montville, CT; and three sisters, Rena L. McDonald of Groton, CT, Joy L. Chalifoux and Ruby L. York, both of Preston, CT; five grandchildren; aunts, uncles, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 30, at 11am in the Chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with Revs. Michael Brand and Bob Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery in the Garden of Palmetto South. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 pm, also in the chapel.
