E.T. Todd, Jr., 73, of Brunswick, died Saturday at his residence. He lived here for 15 years coming from Conyers, GA. He was a professional truck driver, working for and retired from Signal Delivery Service for 20 + years and was a Teamster member. He was a mason at Oceanway Lodge #279 in Jacksonville, FL., a Shriner at the Morocco Temple in Jacksonville, FL., and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Riverview Chapter #265 in Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Sheldon Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday from 6 - 8 p.m. in the chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. Todd is pre-deceased by his parents and a son, Roger Todd. He is survived by his wife, Betty Todd of Brunswick; 4 sons, Richard (Sonja) Todd of Birmingham, AL., Tommy (Missy) Todd of Graysville, AL., Joseph Cates, Jr. of Stockbridge, Ga., and Ronald (Kathy) Todd of Stockbridge, GA.; step sons, Tim (Lisa) Wilson of Brunswick, and Vaughn (Debra) Wilson of Brunswick; a daughter, Glenda (Jack) Todd Maner of Stockbridge, GA., and step daughters, Cindy Stones of Brownsville, TX., Debbie (Chris) Daiss of Shelton, CN., and Tami (Hamlin) Boswell of Woodstock, GA.; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Gene Todd, Richard Todd, Ronald Todd, Tommy Todd, Tim Wilson, and Vaughn Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Taylor, Jack Maner, Joseph Cates, Jr., Hamlin Boswell, and the doctors who cared for E.T. during his illness, Dr. Stephen Chitty, Dr. W.M. Grubb, Dr. Abraham Cheong, Members of Hospice and Members of Open Bible Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles and the Shrine Hospital in care of Morocco Temple, Jacksonville, Florida, in memory of E.T.
