Frances James Leggett, age 77, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Sears Coastal Nursing Home in Brunswick, Georgia.

Frances was born May 25, 1946 in Jesup, Georgia, a daughter of Ellie and Eva Lee James.

She is survived by one son, Chan Joseph (Jessica); four grandchildren, Alicia Joseph, Taleya Joseph, Chandler Joseph Jr., and Carter Joseph; and three siblings, Glenda James O'Connor (Edward), Mary Sue Sellers (William), and Tommy James (Judy). She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellie A and Eva Lee James, and 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, 11:00 AM at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Brown and Rev. Harris O'Connor officiating. Visitation will be from10:00 to 11:00 at the funeral home.
