Gary Paul Barnes of St. Simons Island, Georgia and formerly of Avon Lake, Ohio, left this earthly plain on October 18, 2022.  He is survived by his loving wife Laurel Ann Barnes, children Cara (Darryl) Lofton, Kristin (Edward) Staten, and Barry W. Eberhart, Jr.  Grandchildren Alix Staten, Alexus Staten, Austin Staten and Christopher W. VanAtta.

Gary Paul Barnes, 75, of St. Simons Island, passed away at Southeast Georgia Health System on October 18, 2022. Golden Isles Cremation Center/Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
