Gary Stephen Share, 71, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away on September 20, 2026. He was born on March 30, 1955, in Far Rockaway, New York, to the late Edith Madeline Thompson and Richard Trent Share.

Gary was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a man whose life was deeply rooted in his faith. He was a truly godly man who loved the Lord and found joy in praising Him. His faith, kindness, and love for others touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Gary was married to his beloved wife, Jeannine Share, for 36 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories. He is survived by his wife, Jeannine; his children, Danielle Sheffield (Scott), Laura McGee (Kevin), Christina Perry (Josh), Dooley Miller, and Kristy Rose; and his ten grandchildren, Carleigh (Matt Brittain-fiance), Alexis, Rachel, Andrew, Victoria, Troy, Amelia, Emme, Trevor, and June.

He is also survived by his siblings, Richard Trent Share Jr. (Sheri) and James Anthony Share (Peggy); his nephews, Douglas Share and William Share; and his nieces, Jamie Lee Sanchez and Sheri Lynn Parucki.

Throughout his life, Gary worked in insurance and pursued his entrepreneurial spirit as a business owner. He was once the proud owner of Daylight Donuts and City Music. A gifted and avid musician, Gary had a special love for playing the bass guitar, which brought him great joy and allowed him to express his love of music.

Above all, Gary cherished his family. He was a man of strong faith, a loving husband, and a grandfather whose presence, wisdom, and love will be deeply missed. His legacy will live on through the family he loved so dearly and the many lives he touched.

A service celebrating Gary’s life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Community Church St. Simons. Flowers may be sent to the church prior to the service.
