George M. Drawdy 77, passed away Sunday July 1, 2012 in Winterhaven, Florida. A native of Brunswick, he was born Sept 24, 1934 to Tom Watson and Hattie Drawdy. He graduated from Glynn Academy in 1953 and was a US Marine Corp Veteran. He is survived by four daughters Carol Walters (Johnny) of Chapel Hill, N.C., Phyllis Sumner (Ronnie) of Hortense,Ga; Gina Flanagan (Keith) and Lisa Jackson (Greg) of Brunswick,Ga. a brother Franklin Harris Drawdy (Mickey) and a sister Marie Drawdy of Brunswick, GA., 9 grandchildren; and his loving companion, Carol Vontage of Winterhaven FL. Family will receive friends on Friday July 6, 2012 from 5pm-7pm at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Private inurnment will follow at a later date.
