George Ronald Hutchinson was called home to be with the Lord on the afternoon of December 9, 2011, to join his devoted parents, Mr. & Mrs. L.C. Hutchinson in eternity. Ronald was born May 13, 1944 on the 6th wedding anniversary of his parents, in Alma, Georgia. He graduated from Glynn Academy and attended the University of Georgia, and while still a student there married the former Elizabeth Minter of Brunswick/St. Simons, where they continued to make their home together for 47 years. Ron worked for Brooks Auto Parts for over 30 years and had planned on retiring at the end of this year to spend more time with his family and pursue his lifelong interest in fishing. Pancreatic cancer cruelly cancelled those plans.Those who will miss him most are his beloved wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Deborah Schueler (Tommy Schueler) of Charleston, SC; son, George Michael Hutchinson (Angie Hutchinson) of Suwannee, GA; sister, Mary Catherine Waite (Bob Waite) of Cape Coral, FL; brother, Lester James Hutchinson (Pat Hutchinson) of Dunedin, FL; and their respective spouses; grandsons, Tyler and Harrison Schueler; granddaughters, Jordan and Georgia Hutchinson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
