Gerald Randall Dampier Sr., 67, of Brunswick, GA died on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick, Georgia. Born on July 6, 1953 to Talmadge and Lois Dampier in Homerville, Georgia, he married Cheryl Lee Hamilton on June 21, 1975 in Brunswick. Randy loved his family. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He loved many sports including NASCAR, football, baseball, and softball. He worked hard as a carpenter so he preferred to spend his time off at home. He is survived by his spouse Cheryl Lee Dampier; two sons, Gerald Randall (Bubba) Dampier Jr. and Billy James Dampier; three grandchildren, Gerald Randall Dampier III, Brittany Papson, and Haley Dampier; and two siblings, Wanda Gay and Roy Dampier. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27th, 2021 from 10:00 AM at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with funeral services to begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Batten officiating.
