Germaine Monteil Stephenson, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Hospice of Golden Isles. A resident of Brunswick since 2005, Germaine was born October 8th, 1964 in Suffolk VA. She was an excellent wife, mother, and homeschooling mom who truly loved the Lord. She touched many lives during her journey her on this side of Heaven. Germaine was preceded in death by her father, John Elvin Diggs. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Edward Stephenson II; sons, Joshua, Jeremiah and John David; daughter, Samantha; her mother, Gwendolyn Stencill; sister, Etienne Stancell; and several close friends, George Woods, Felisa Smith, Tenesa Mohammad, William Haywood II, and Crystal Durant. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM. Home-going service will be Wednesday, April 4, 2016 at 11 AM. All services will be conducted at the Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery and Funeral Home.
