Gloria Kelly Johnson, born July 3, 1941, lived a life centered around the people she loved most. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Gloria had a special way of making those around her feel loved, cared for, and at home.

Family was the heart of Gloria’s life. She loved deeply and gave generously of herself, creating a lifetime of memories that her family will forever treasure. She loved to cook for the people she loved, and her spaghetti and meatballs were an all-time family favorite—a dish that represented the warmth and care she brought to her family’s table. She also enjoyed playing golf and cards, especially when those times were shared with family and friends. Whether gathered around a meal or enjoying time together, her greatest happiness came from being with the people she loved.

She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Roy Johnson, who preceded her in death. She also endured the heartbreaking loss of her son, Brian Johnson, whose memory remained forever close to her heart.

Gloria leaves behind her children, Kelly Combs and her husband, Greg; David Johnson and his wife, Mel; and Marc Johnson and his wife, Erica. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Vivian; eight grandchildren who adored her; and three great-grandchildren who brought another generation of love and joy into her life.

To her family, Gloria was so much more than the roles she held. She was a steady source of love, comfort, strength, laughter, and tradition. The meals she prepared, the time she shared, and the everyday moments she made meaningful became lasting memories for those who knew and loved her. In her presence, family was not simply a connection—it was something to be cherished, nurtured, and held close.

Gloria’s legacy will live on in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and in the many lives she touched throughout her lifetime. The love she gave so freely will continue through the family she cherished and the memories they carry forward.

Her family will carry that love with them always. A private memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
