Mrs. Glynn Simmons Spaulding, age 82, passed away on May 7, 2016. Glynn was the daughter of Edward and Anniebell Simmons of Brunswick. She graduated in the class of 1951 at Glynn Academy and went on to get an associate degree. She owned and operated the Live Oak Mobile Home Park and the store. Glynn was a very caring daughter, wife, and mother to Paige and Rick and grandmother to Dillon and Logan Spaulding and granddaughter Britany McCormick. She is survived by her son, Rick Spaulding (Jeannie) of Brunswick and her brother, John Simmons of Baxley. Mrs. Spaulding was preceded in death by her daughter, Paige Spaulding. The active pallbearers will be Raymond House, Ray House, Jr., Billy Reeves, and Jack Crawford. The honorary pallbearers will be George Skarpalezos Sr., George Skarpalezos Jr., Winnie Skarpalezos, Lewis and Ann Parrish, and Deborah Crawford. In her retirement years Glynn sold real estate with Skarpelezos Realty. Glynn not only loved the Lord but she lived life to the fullest and on her terms. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends that loved her dearly. The family would also like to thank Cheryl Hilbing, Dr. Elsharkawi, Dr. Patel, Dr. Clay, Dr. Robert Thompson and the staff of Senior Health Care Center. Funeral Services will be held at the Chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends in the chapel one hour prior to the service. The family is being assisted by the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home.
