Grace Maudine Hill, 87, of Blackshear, GA, formerly of Brunswick, GA passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Mayo Nursing Home in Blackshear. Born in Ashburn, GA, January 1, 1928 to Johnny Webb Nipper and Annie Maude Vanzant Nipper. Her daughter and grandson were also born on January 1st. She was so proud of this. She graduated from Ashburn High School in Ashburn, GA. Ms. Hill is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Brunswick. She worked in the medical field for years in the office for Dr. Joe Owens and Dr. Marvin Engle. She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Hill, Sr.; a son, Gregory Webster Hill; her parents; and three brothers, Za Nipper, James Nipper and Don Nipper. Survivors include a daughter, Diane Hill Rowe of Blackshear, GA, formerly of Brunswick and Aiken, SC; two sons, William D. Hill, Jr. and wife Fredia of Blackshear and George Michael Hill and wife Pam of Jesup; 5 grandchildren, Glenn Wilbur Rowe, Jr. (Laurie) of Lexington, SC, Gregory Webster Hill, Jr. of St. Simons Island, William Denny Hill, III (Melissa) of Blackshear, Amy Hill Weaver (Dwayne) of Hull, GA, Emily Hill (Shane) of Jesup; 9 great grandchildren; Alex Hill of St. Simons, Tyler Rowe, Matthew Rowe, and Callie Rowe all of Lexington, SC, Ellington Hill, and Remington Hill of Blackshear, Anniston Weaver of Hull, GA, Bracken Murphy and Koen Murphy of Jesup; Sisters-in-Laws, Hazel Nipper of Valdosta, Myra Huggins of Eastman, Ruth Ciraldo of Atlanta; and several special nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, May 30, 2015 in the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
